There is a lot of fun to be had at the beach. Even if it's too cool for the bathin' suit -- we don't care. We just follow our instincts, which usually wind up getting wet.
Oregon beaches (Manzanita, here) are quite varied. Sometimes rocky, sometimes crazy surf, Manzanita is 7 miles of sand sand sand. It's awesome.
How many times a day does Ruby just leap for joy?
She'll make friends with just about any animal out there. These two little troublemakers were too cute - and she was playing ball with them within a minute of our "formal" introduction.
An evening at home with Ickix. They were dining on vegan mac-n-cheese with brocci (broccoli). Ruby ate two bowlfuls, pasta, leaves, brocci trunks and all.
Check her out! Icky learned how to use a fork and spoon from watching Ruby.
Tearing it up at the beach!
This one appears to be a dance for joy. We watched her for hours. No exaggeration.
Planted in the sand.

Back at home in the yard. Isa and Justin over to make homemade pasta sauce, chillin' with Justin while mommy and Isa cooked. Ruby is the president of the Justin fan club.

Getting caught looking cute, again!

Ever made homemade pasta sauce? Well, if you have hours at home where you can intermittently tend a pot, and want to taste something totally phenomenal, try it out. This sauce may look like mushed tomatos, but it tastes like heaven. Not that mushed tomatos shouldn't taste like heaven, but it's deceptive... and thanks Isa for the pics.
Sending more love!
