Kansas, part two

here we were visiting a local gardeners garden -- it was beautiful, though you can't see any of the cool plants. ruby was of course interested in the fish in the pond, and considering taking a swim. i had to keep a hand on her to keep her out! jeez!

Kansas!!

Here is the Bird, in all of her Kansas glory. We are having quite a B I G time!



swimming in the hot tub....we cool it down and it is the perfect size. we're spending an hour a day in there, at least!



Yes, this little girl loves her Opa. Can't you tell?



In some of her new gardening gear. Clogs, knee pad, watering can, hat...plus the new hoe, 2 rakes, a spade, a shovel, 2 hand trowels....Oma has a shopping problem. ;)



This is what two hours of swimming does to a 2 year old.

And the new (0oollllddddd) bicycle! This baby is 50 years old. Oma put on a new coat of paint, a horn and a basket. The streamers haven't been attached yet, but they're here. Ruby loves it. We're pedaling our way around the cul-de-sac every day.

big kid ruby

this is her favorite new "silly" thing to do. remove the handle from the "butterfly net" and wear the net. she runs around acting crazy and shaking her head. it also makes her look like she's got a teeny tiny mohawk.



here she's just hanging out in the kitchen at her table, enjoying a glass of rice milk.

the one and only naked baby farm! i joke. this is baby ickix, otherwise known as baby felix. but ruby calls her baby ickix. we had the pleasure of hanging out with felix the other night while her folks went out to dinner. a big time was had!



i don't know about you, but i always eat my blueberries while i'm naked, riding on a mult-colored rocking horse. they're so much better that way!
